About Us

Punjabi Sikho was created with a simple purpose: to create engaging and meaningful resources that help future generations learn Punjabi, connect with their culture and heritage, and develop an understanding of Sikh values.

The idea grew from the founder’s own experience of growing up and learning Punjabi in the UK, before later going on to teach the language to children. Through teaching, she saw first-hand the difference that colourful, engaging and thoughtfully designed resources could make to a child’s concentration, participation and progress.

This became the inspiration behind Punjabi Sikho - creating resources that make learning engaging, enjoyable and meaningful, while helping the next generation build a stronger connection with their roots.

At the heart of Punjabi Sikho is the belief that learning Punjabi is about more than learning a language. It is about connecting generations, discovering culture and heritage, understanding Sikh values and creating meaningful connections that children can carry with them as they grow.

As Punjabi Sikho continues to grow, so will the resources and stories we create - with the hope of inspiring future generations to learn, connect and carry their language, culture, heritage and values forward.
